Due to the forecasted impact of Hurricane Milton, several National Car Rental locations will be temporarily closing in areas throughout Florida.
We are working with the local community and our government and business partners to determine the most immediate transportation needs and will continue to assess and provide updates accordingly.
Please call your local car rental branch for clarification regarding hours and availability.

What happens if I’m unable to return my vehicle to my original rental location? Will my rental fees be dropped?
- At this time, drop and one-way fees will be waived for customers who rented a vehicle and return to another location in the U.S.
- Vehicles can be returned to any Enterprise, National or Alamo car rental location during normal business hours without incurring drop fees.
- For location-specific information, customers are encouraged to call the branch from which they rented.
Will I be charged a late fee if I am unable to return my vehicle?
- If there are unforeseen circumstances prohibiting you from returning your vehicle, please call the branch from which you rented.
My vehicle is damaged or flooded, what should I do?
- If it is not safe to drive or if you are in need of service, call Roadside Assistance at 1-800-307-6666. To report other non-emergency damage or concerns, please contact us at NonEmergencyAssist@ehi.com, and we will work with you to discuss options.
I can return the car, but I am unable to fuel up before I return. What should I do?
- We will refuel at our location. You will only be charged standard refuel rate.
The branch where I rented my vehicle has not reopened, what do I do?
- Phone lines will remain open at all locations impacted. Please call your local branch and they will assist you.
I had a reservation for a rental however I was unable to pick it up because of the evacuation. Will it still be available when I return?
- You will need to book another rental. Please visit nationalcar.com to check future availability and make a new reservation.
