Corpus Christi is a stunning Texas city bordering Port Aransas and the Padre Island National Seashore. Getting to Work in Corpus Christi
The Corpus Christi International Airport (CRP) is at 1000 International Drive, just inside of Highway 44. Head over to the National Car Rental center across from Baggage Claim to get your car and hop right on Highway 44. Go west on that road to reach I-69E, or head east for access to the city's hotels, conference spaces, and beaches.
One popular area for hotels is along N. Shoreline Blvd. past Highway 181. Many hotels here have conference centers where you may attend a meeting, but Corpus Christi also has some convention spaces and larger venues. For example, the American Bank Center is a couple of minutes further north and hosts large exhibits, trade shows, and conferences. Driving from the airport to the convention center will take about 20 minutes depending on traffic.

Corpus Christi is full of things to do, and you don't even have to venture far from the American Bank Center area. The Corpus Christi Museum of Science & History is within walking distance and features exhibits on South Texas's agriculture, wildlife, and more. You can also drive down N. Shoreline Blvd., park in a metered spot or a garage, and find some of the best shopping and dining options in the city.
If you're in the mood for seafood, go to Water Street Seafood Company for oysters and other specialties caught in the gulf. On the same block, you'll find Executive Surf Club, which is a more casual option with live music and an outdoor patio.
Corpus Christi is easy to navigate, and you'll find many hotel and dining options on the water along Shoreline Blvd. This area is also nearby the convention center, making a business trip here a seamless experience.
