Orlando International Airport (MCO) Car Rental

Additional drivers must meet same rental qualifications as the renter. Additional drivers must appear at the rental counter with the primary renter. An additional daily fee may apply for any additional drivers.

PLEASE LOCK CAR DOORS AND PLACE KEYS IN THE DROP BOX LOCATED ON RENTAL COUNTER. THE RENTERS RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE VEHICLES CONDITION ENDS ONCE AN ENTERPRISE EMPLOYEE INSPECTS THE VEHICLE THE NEXT DAY. CUSTOMERS ARE WELCOME TO PRINT THEIR RECEIPT ON LINE 48 HOURS AFTER THE VEHICLE IS CHECKED IN.

Minimum age to rent a vehicle is 21, except in NY and MI, where the minimum age to rent is 18. Rental rates may be higher for renters and additional drivers under the age of 25. To view young driver fee, please go to the reservation page and select the location. Certain specialty and larger sized vehicles may not be available for rentals when the renter or additional driver is under 25.

This reservation is being made with a Contract ID number (CID) assigned to a Corporate Account for use exclusively by its eligible renters. Use of this CID by individuals other than eligible renters is prohibited and may result in disciplinary action. Renters using this CID may be required to show proof of employment or authorization (such as a business card, current email with company domain, work order, etc.). Questions about acceptable proof of employment or authorization should be directed to your Travel Manager.

Damage waiver, DW, for this branch ranges between 14.99 USD and 39.99 USD per day. DW is offered at the time of rental for an additional daily charge. If the renter accepts DW, National waives or reduces the renters responsibility for loss of, or damage to, the rental vehicle, including but not limited to towing, storage, loss of use, administrative fees and or diminishment of value, subject to the terms and conditions of the rental agreement and applicable laws. DW is not insurance. The purchase of DW is optional and not required to rent a car. The protection provided by DW may duplicate the renters existing coverage. National is not qualified to evaluate the adequacy of the renters existing coverage, therefore the renter should examine his or her credit card protections, automobile insurance policies or other sources of coverage that may duplicate the protection provided by DW.

As a customer, you have a choice as to how you would like to pay for fuel.

Option 1- Prepay Fuel
This option allows the renter to pay for the full tank of gas at the time of rental and return the tank empty. No refunds will be issued for unused gas.

Option 2 - We Refill
This option allows the renter to pay National at the end of the rental for gas used but not replace. Price per gallon will be higher than local fuel prices.

Option 3- You Refill
This option allows the renter to return the vehicle with a full tank of gas to avoid extra fuel charges.

Important Note- For Europeans booking in the US and Canada, unless included in the rate package, payment for a tank of gas will be required at time of rental. No refund will be issued for fuel purchased but not used. The total prepaid fuel charge reflected is an estimate based on current prices and the average tank size for the car class reserved, and may change at time of rental.

DAMAGE WAIVER (DW) FOR THIS BRANCH IS $9.99-$15.99 PER DAY. - DW IS OFFERED AT THE TIME OF RENTAL FOR AN ADDITIONAL DAILY CHARGE. IF THE RENTER ACCEPTS DW, ENTERPRISE WAIVES OR REDUCES THE RENTER'S RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOSS OF, OR DAMAGE TO, THE RENTAL VEHICLE (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO TOWING, STORAGE, LOSS OF USE, ADMININSTRATIVE FEES AND/OR DIMINSHMENT OF VALUE) SUBJECT TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE RENTAL AGREEMENT AND APPLICABLE LAWS. DW IS NOT INSURANCE. THE PURCHASE OF DW IS OPTIONAL AND NOT REQUIRED TO RENT A CAR. THE PROTECTION PROVIDED BY DW MAY DUPLICATE THE RENTER'S EXISTING COVERAGE. ENTERPRISE IS NOT QUALIFIED TO EVALUATE THE ADEQUACY OF THE RENTER'S EXISTING COVERAGE; THEREFORE THE RENTER SHOULD EXAMINE HIS OR HER CREDIT CARD PROTECTIONS, AUTOMOBILE INSURANCE POLICIES OR OTHER SOURCES OF COVERAGE THAT MAY DUPLICATE THE PROTECTION PROVIDED BY DW.

Emerald Club customers can earn credits on qualifying rentals and redeem free days at this location. Note: Emerald Club members can earn credits on National and Enterprise brand rentals, but can only redeem at National brand locations

A valid drivers license from the customers country of residence is required and must be presented at time of rental. The drivers license must be valid for the entire rental period.
If the drivers license is in a language other than English, an International Driver's Permit is required along with the drivers license.

Exceptions-
- Japanese travelers may use the Japanese Drivers License Translation Service, which replaces the need for an International Drivers Permit.
- At all California, Nevada and Phoenix-area airports and rental locations, renters with drivers licenses issued outside of the United States or its territories must produce a valid Passport. US Territories include American Samoa, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, the Federated States of Micronesia, and the Midway Islands.

DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS THE LOCAL OFFICE RESTRICTS ALL PICKUPS AND RETURNS TO A FOUR MILE RADIUS FROM THE OFFICE, THIS IS DUE TO THE HIGH VOLUME OF TRAFFIC IN THE BEACH COMMUNITY.

A credit card, with available credit and in the renters name, must be presented. The signature on the back must match the name imprinted on the card. In addition, if the renter has an online transaction, the number and name printed on the card presented by renter must match the name and number stored for the online transaction. Credit Cards honored- American Express, MasterCard, VISA, Discover, JCB. Puerto Rico- The following credit cards are accepted for rentals in Puerto Rico- American Express, MasterCard, VISA, Diners Club, Discover.
- Canada- The following credit cards are accepted for rentals in Canada: American Express, MasterCard, VISA.

All renters and additional drivers must be 21 or older, have a valid driver’s license and a major credit card in their name. Driver's licenses are accepted from any USA state or territory, from a Canadian province or from an international country. Licenses from outside the USA or Canada also may require an international driver's permit. International driver's permits are valid only if presented with the original local license. Individuals with learner’s permits are not eligible to rent. U.S. government employees ages 18 or older will not incur a young driver surcharge when renting for authorized government travel. 

AGE –
The underage surcharge for drivers between the ages of 21 and 24 is 25 USD per day. Renters between the ages of 21 and 24 may not rent the following vehicle classes: Luxury SUVs, Exotics, 12 Passenger Vans and 15 Passenger Vans.

NON CREDIT CARD DEPOSITS –
Debit cards are accepted at our airport locations at the time of rental with a round trip travel ticket, e-ticket, or travel itinerary that shows the renter's name and discloses a return date and port of entry.

DEPOSIT AMOUNTS –
A deposit equal to the cost of the rental will be taken at the time of rental, and the funds will not be available for use until after the vehicle has been returned. Cash is not an acceptable form of rental deposit. Prepaid cards and money orders are not an acceptable form of rental deposit. This location is not responsible for any overdraft fees incurred.

Must meet the locations minimum age requirements.

Present a valid drivers license.

Present a major credit card in renters name at the time of rental. 

Note- A Credit card is not required to rent in the state of New York. Renters who do not have a credit card will need to complete a cash qualification process in order to rent a vehicle.

Roadside Plus Renter may purchase RSP from Owner for an additional fee. If Renter purchases RSP, Owner agrees, subject to the actions that invalidate Damage Waiver, to contractually waive Renter’s responsibility for the cost to provide 24/7 roadside assistance (where available) which includes replacement of lost keys (including remote entry devices), flat tire service (if no inflated spare is available, the vehicle will be towed. Cost of a replacement tire is not covered by RSP), lockout service (if the keys are locked inside the vehicle), jumpstarts, and fuel delivery service for up to 3 gallons (or equivalent liters) of fuel if Vehicle is out of fuel. Roadside Plus services are only available in the United States and Canada. If Renter does not purchase RSP, or RSP is invalidated as set forth above, roadside assistance will be available, but standard charges will apply. RSP does not apply in Mexico. For roadside assistance call 1-800-367-6767. For rentals originating in California, Kansas, Nevada and New York, Roadside Plus does not include replacement of lost keys or remote entry devices

 

 

SUPPLEMENTAL LIABILITY PROTECTION (SLP) FOR THIS BRANCH IS $24.99 PER DAY - SUPPLEMENTAL LIABILITY PROTECTION (SLP) IS OFFERED AT THE TIME OF RENTAL FOR AN ADDITIONAL DAILY CHARGE. IF ACCEPTED, SLP PROVIDES THE RENTER AND AUTHORIZED DRIVERS WITH UP TO $1,000,000 COMBINED SINGLE LIMIT FOR THIRD PARTY LIABILITY CLAIMS. IF THE RENTER ACCEPTS SLP, ENTERPRISE PROVIDES THIRD PARTY LIABILITY PROTECTION UP TO THE APPLICABLE MINIMUM FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY LIMIT AND EMPIRE FIRE AND MARINE INSURANCE COMPANY PROVIDES EXCESS THIRD PARTY LIABILITY INSURANCE COVERAGE FROM THE APPLICABLE MINIMUM FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY LIMIT TO $1,000,000. THIS IS A SUMMARY ONLY. SLP IS SUBJECT TO THE TERMS, CONDITIONS, PROVISIONS, LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS IN THE SUPPLEMENTAL RENTAL LIABILITY INSURANCE EXCESS POLICY UNDERWRITTEN BY EMPIRE FIRE AND MARINE INSURANCE COMPANY. THE PURCHASE OF SLP IS OPTIONAL AND NOT REQUIRED TO RENT A CAR. THE COVERAGE PROVIDED BY SLP MAY DUPLICATE THE RENTER'S EXISTING COVERAGE. If you or any driver operate the rental vehicle in the following areas, and generate an unpaid toll, you will be charged:

•TPD area (Northeast U.S. except MA): TollPass Transponder Service of $3.95 for each rental day plus the cost of all unpaid tolls. The maximum TollPass Device Charge for the rental period is $19.75, plus the cost of all unpaid tolls.

•TPD area (Massachusetts) – there is no option to pay cash on any Massachusetts toll road

• Travel both within and outside of MA: TOLLPASS TRANSPONDER SERVICE of $3.95 for each rental day plus the cost of all unpaid tolls. The maximum TollPass Device Charge for the rental period is $19.75, plus the cost of all unpaid tolls.

• Travel within MA only: TOLLPASS CONVENIENCE CHARGE of $3.95 for each day you use a toll road or bridge plus the cost of all unpaid tolls. The maximum TollPass Convenience charge for the rental period is $19.75, plus the cost of all unpaid tolls.

•TPW area (Chicago): Tollpass Transponder Service of $9.99 for each rental day at the airport locations and $7.99 for each rental day at all other participating locations. The cost of tolls is included in the daily charge.

•TCC area (Northern CA, CO, GA, FL, TX, NC, PR, WA in the U.S. / Toronto and Vancouver in Canada): TollPass Convenience Charge of $3.95 for each day you use a toll road or bridge plus the cost of all unpaid tolls. The maximum TollPass Device Charge for the rental period is $19.75, plus the cost of all unpaid tolls.

•TCC area (Southern CA): TollPass Convenience Charge of $3.95 for each day you use the 73, 133, 241 or 261 toll roads or bridges plus the cost of all unpaid tolls. The maximum TollPass Convenience Charge for the rental period is $19.75, plus the cost of all unpaid tolls.
