Timișoara Traian Vuia Intl. Airport (TSR) Car Rental

There will be an additional charge of 20 EUR per rental plus VAT for each additional driver. Full rental conditions apply to additional drivers.

Customers must confirm at the time of reservation pick up and return time to ensure the rental counter will be manned to service after hours reservations at the communicated times. Please park the rental vehicle in the airport parking facility in the rent a car places. The airport parking is on the ground floor. There are no levels.

All renters must be between the ages of 21 - 75 for all car groups. Renters between the ages of 21 and 24 will be charged a young driver fee of 3 EUR per day.

Collision Damage Waiver - CDW - is an optional coverage product which reduces the customers financial responsibility in cases of damage to the rental vehicle or fire to the excess-deductible amount. CDW does not provide any coverage for damages to the underside of the vehicle, inside the vehicle-saloon, wind shields, mirrors or tires. The customer is liable for the full cost of the vehicle if this coverage product is not purchased. A police statement must be presented to the rental company in the event of an accident. Without a police report the client is fully liable for damages. The customer assumes full responsibility if the damage cause is due to infringement of the road circulation code. The daily charge and deductible amount vary by car class. The charges by car group - Economy - EDMR, 7 EUR per day with a deductible of 400 EUR, Compact Car - CDMR, 7 EUR per day with a deductible amount of 400 EUR, Compact Wagon - CWMR, 7 EUR per day with a deductible of 400 EUR, Intermediate Car - IDMR 12 EUR per day with a deductible amount of 600 EUR, Compact Automatic Car - CDAR 8 EUR per day with a deductible amount of 500 EUR, Compact Automatic Wagon - CWAR 8 EUR per day with a deductible amount of 700 EUR, Standard Car - SDMR 13 EUR per day with a deductible amount of 800 EUR, Standard SUV - SFMR 18 EUR per day with a deductible amount of 800 EUR, Standard Van - SVMR 14 EUR per day with a deductible amount of 800 EUR. All rates do not include VAT.

Domestic One-Way rentals are available for all car groups. Prices are as follows and include Airport and Downtown locations for all cities- Within the same city - Free of charge. Bucharest to Constanta, and vice versa - EUR 45.00 plus tax. Bucharest to Timisoara, and vice versa - EUR 85.00 plus tax. Constanta to Timisoara, and vice versa-  EUR 120.00 plus tax. Bucharest to Cluj-Napoca, and vice versa - EUR 70.00 plus tax. Timisoara to Cluj-Napoca, and vice versa- EUR 50.00 plus tax. Constanta to Cluj-Napoca, and vice versa - EUR 100.00 plus tax. Bucharest to Sibiu, and vice versa - EUR 55.00 plus tax. Timisoara to Sibiu, and vice versa - EUR 55.00 plus tax. Constanta to Sibiu, and vice versa - EUR 90.00 plus tax. Cluj-Napoca to Sibiu, and vice versa - EUR 40.00 plus tax. Rental must be pre-booked. Minimum rental length is 1 day. International One-Way rentals are not allowed.

All National vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel. It is advised that the customer re-fills the tank before returning the vehicle, otherwise the customer will be invoiced for the missing fuel plus a refueling service charge of 10.00 EUR per rental.

Cross Border Policy - Cross border rentals are allowed within the European countries and the continental part of Turkey. A prior written authorization is required and an insurance fee will apply. The guarantee is equal to the buying value of the rented car. This type of rental must be requested at least 7 working days prior to the pick up date. The green card covers the rental vehicle with Supplemental Liability Insurance - TPI - as long as the vehicle remains in the borders of the country for which the card is issued. The fee for cross border travel is as follows Economy, Compact, Intermediate is 50 EUR per rental and for Standard vehicles is 80 EUR per rental.

For each rental a credit card in the renters name- AMEX, Visa or Mastercard - is required. At the time a rental deposit will be taken that varies by car type. Economy -EDMR 700 EUR, Compact Manual- CDMR, CWMR 800 EUR, Compact Automatic - CDAR, CWAR 1,000 EUR, Standard - SDMR, SFMR, SVMR 1200 EUR. A debit card, cash, cash card Maestro - e.g. Electron may not be used for deposit or payment.

All drivers must present a valid International or European Union driving license that has been held for a minimum of 12 months along with an identity card or passport.
