Sens Car Rental

Rental conditions apply to all additional drivers. A fee of 28.43 Euro per rental excl vat applies.

Renters must be aged 21 or over to rent Mini, Economy, Compact, Compact Wagon, Monospace Wagon, Convertible and Aans. Renters must be aged 25 or over to rent Intermediate, Standard, Monospace, Wagon, Minivan, SUV 4x2, Premium Wagon, Premium. Renters must be aged 30 or over to rent Luxury.

Cross border travel is not permitted into Albania, Belarus, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Republic of Macedonia, Romania, Russia, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine. Cross border travel is permitted into Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom at no extra cost. Cross border travel is permitted into France Corsica, Sardinia Islands, Balearic Islands, providing the car is returned to the European mainland. Cars taken to Channel Islands cannot benefit from any breakdown or accident assistance. Cars taken to Corsica must be brought back to the Continent. Please be advised that the following areas in Germany: Berlin, Cologne and Hannover will require an Emissions Sticker stating the emission of the vehicle intended to enter these areas. Without this sticker, the driver of the vehicle will be fined up to EUR 40.00 even if the car is registered abroad. Should the car not have the Emissions Sticker, then this can be purchased at most garages. Please be advised that due to a change in law in Germany, it is mandatory for all vehicles crossing the border into Germany to have winter tyres fitted during the snow and icy conditions. Customers will be fined on the spot if they are stopped by police and found to not have the appropriate winter tyres. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT FOR ANY RENTALS COLLECTED IN FRANCE, VEHICLES ARE TO BE RETURNED TO THE FRENCH SIDE OF THE GENEVA BORDER TO AVOID ANY One-Way DROP CHARGE. SO FOR ANY VEHICLES PICKED UP ON THE FRENCH SIDE OF THE GENEVA BORDER AND LEFT ON THE SWISS SIDE OF THE GENEVA BORDER THIS WOULD INCCUR A One-Way FEE -DROP CHARGE- OF 120 EUR.

Damage waiver reduces the amount of liability you are responsible for in the event of damage to and or theft of the vehicle. The excess price is 18.00 EUR. The excess amounts applicable with damage waiver are. Vehicle class Economy-Mini-Electric- Compact- Intermediate- Standard- SUV- Convertible, 850.00 EUR. Vehicle class Monospace-Mini-van - Fullsize Wagon-Van-Fullsize- Luxury, 2000.00 EUR.

A) One-Way rentals are permitted for all public products (except weekend rates) for all cars in France at a cost of EUR 75.25 + vat (EUR 90.00 EUR, including VAT) per rental. B) One-Way rentals are permitted on all tour products (except weekend rates) for all cars in France at a cost of EUR 75.25 + vat (EUR 90.00 EUR, including VAT) per rental, for reservations with a rental length of between 1-2 days and free of charge for rentals over 3 days. C) There is a local charge of 230.00 EUR, including VAT, for the CTMR (Compact Convertible) and SVMR (Standard Passenger Van) car groups and 450.00 EUR, including VAT, for the IFMR (Intermediate SUV), SFAR (Standard SUV) and SFMR (Standard SUV) car groups. The local charges apply to both tour and public products regardless of number of rental days. Customers will be charged an additional EUR 120.00 (paid locally) for any domestic One-Way rental placed on weekend rates. One-Way rentals between locations within the same city are free of charge. One-Way rentals are not permitted between France mainland and France Corsica. International One-Way rentals are not permitted for the IFMR (Intermediate SUV), SVMR (Standard Passenger Van), CTMR (Compact Convertible), SFAR (Standard SUV), IGMR (Intermediate Crossover), PDAR (Premium), and LDAR (Luxury) car groups. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT FOR ANY RENTALS COLLECTED IN FRANCE, VEHICLES ARE TO BE RETURNED TO THE FRENCH SIDE OF THE GENEVA BORDER TO AVOID ANY One-Way DROP CHARGE. SO FOR ANY VEHICLES PICKED UP ON THE FRENCH SIDE OF THE GENEVA BORDER AND LEFT ON THE SWISS SIDE OF THE GENEVA BORDER THIS WOULD INCCUR A One-Way FEE (DROP CHARGE) OF EUR 120.

To comply with the National standard fuel policy the vehicle should be returned with a level of fuel equal to the amount provided at the start of the rental. Optional fuel products are available at participating locations.

Customers must present a full and valid driving licence which has been held for a minimum of one year. License must be in Roman alphabet. An international driving licence is valid only if presented with the domestic driving licence. The customer must also provide either an identity card or a passport, return train or flight tickets and a local landline telephone number, this cannot be a mobile number. Due to an increased theft risk, a proof of home address will be required from all domestic renters (French residents only) at time of rental. As proof of address France accept a EDF/GDF bill or France Telecom bill (or a bill from any other landline provider).

Cross border policy customer must advise the car will be driven out of France at the beginning of the rental. Cross border travel is not permitted into AL,BY,BA,BG, HR,CZ,EE,GR,HU,IE,LV,LT,PL,MK,RO,RU,CS,SK,SI,TR,UA. Cross border travel is permitted into AD,AT,BE,DK,FI,DE ES,NL,IT,LU,NO,PT,SE,CH,GB at no extra cost. Cross border is travel is permitted into Corsica, Sardinia, Balearic Islands providing the car is returned to the mainland. Amex, Diners, Mastercard, Visa accepted. Debit cards, cash, travellers cheques and eurocheques are not accepted. An international valid credit card is always required for the deposit which will be held on the credit card until the vehicle is returned. Two credit cards in the same name and surname required for car groups SFAR, PDAR, CTMR, LDAR, FDMR, FWAR, FDAR, IFMR, PFAR, LFAR, IGAR, IGMR and the credit cards must not be from the same issuer. The minimum authorization is EUR 1500 per card.
